Distributed basic needs

September 13, 2008 by KSU_2

Karenni Students Development Program, Children on the Edge and Project to Support Refugee from Burma, provided basic needs materials for students who cannot afford it. In Karenni refugee camp, there are many students who don’t have parents because their parent had left in Burma or passed away. Even if they have parents, the refugee people are not allowed to go outside of the camp to earn money. Also there are not many good quality supplies in the camp. The generosity of the donors made it possible to provide soap, washing powder, tooth paste, tooth brush and sanitary towels for the girls. Sanitary towels are very important because if the girls don’t have it, they will take time away from school every month.
